so I started the Keto diet last Wednesday, and have consistently been losing a pound a day which is nice, but, also kinda not the main reason why I started haha
I started at 175ish, which is a healthy weight for 5'11", and while I would actually like to get to 135~140, again, not super the point? The main reason for Keto is that I know that I don't feel good when eating a lot of starchy carbs, and I do feel better when eating more protein. And I'd been exhausted and dizzy and nauseated a lot and was getting sick
of it, so, dieting time. My sister did it for like a year, and she said she felt clearer headed than she had ever before, and it solved a lot of her stomaches issues at the same time. And since she and I have a lot of similarities in our health issues and, again, I already know my body doesn't super like carbs and sugar, I figured I'd jump in haha.
But like my dudes the keto flu is no joke it was the worst, but I'm already getting over it and do actually feel like I have more energy, and being hungry doesn't make me super pissy and prone to eyeing people as my next food source haha
But yeah, the pound a day had been nice, through I'm not anticipating it lasting long. And I've learned that the scale number doesn't mean much anyway, so we'll see what happens
yoooooo I've been thinking of trying keto sporadically short term for the same reasons + weight loss for me. I truely feel like eating less carbs makes me feel so much clearer. Scared of the flu tho
