It's raining. I wore rainboots. So my feet are dry. But my upper legs are soaked. Thank you, monsoon, thank you.

That's how I feel about umbrellas. They keep a very small amount of a person dry.
oh god
mizuyoko: My umbrella kept my head dry. The rest of me, thanks to wind, was soaked. So my head and my feet were dry. Nothing else.

magicom: Heavy rain isn't the problem--the problem is the wind and the fact that on campus there are several artificial wind tunnels created by the buildings that are just. So much fun to walk through.
If you're not talking about Louisville's Belknap campus you could have been because windtunnel is that whole place istg (LOL)
things that don't help: UPS planes flying low over it all day every day
Nope, I'm talking about Richmond's Eastern Kentucky University campus. We don't have low flying planes, but all of our buildings are old and so the bookstore I'm working in is flooded at the moment.
oh nooooooooo
YEAH. But thankfully it's mostly in the back and not up where I work. Which is good because I'm already wet enough, thank you. At least I didn't wear a white shirt today.
