personally, yes. I think Fridays are a good time for more 'forum-type', open discussion, when everyone have more time, and ther
there's less pressure then, because it's the weekend. On mondays, everyone should be on the go, to get to work! =)
I love MMMs. I like connecting with everyone before starting my week. I also like the quick format as it is an admin mtg.
a sense of where the company is going. progress updates. Sharing.
I think MMMs are great as they are. But if we are trying to find an avenue to communicate change, we might need something else.
perhaps we can set aside an hour or two a week to talk about change. Share the urgency on why we need change, and where we want to go.
Are you thnking about "change meetings", or something more/less structured?
perhaps more of a change meeting. Set out agendas and timeline for what we want to achieve by each milestone. One aspect of change mgt
is to over-communicate the need for change
Forgot to ask... how frequent do yo uthink these meetings should be and could they not be on MMMs?
my feel is that MMMs have their role and people seem to perceive it within that role. I think a separate session would communicate the idea
that this change is important.
I think we are currently doing well when we constantly ask ourselves if what we are working on is future-focused (appreciative enquiry)
what kind of frequency do you think would be good. Also once a week? The whole office?
and we just need to keep talking about it
