I saw a show on this. They say that we will probably start colonizing the moon in order to import a type of carbon used in fusion
It would provide us with exponential energy since this type of carbon is easiest to fuse
yea! i think i saw the same show! we could even renew the way we govern the new moon society
that is cool but kinda weird
Moon society lol That would be fun. I would make everyone wear silver suits and do the hokey pokey constantly
ha ha but then that would mess up the world and flood because how high the tide will be
what are you talking about? the moon would still have the same gravitational pull
that would be cool i am talking to my mom and typing what i am thinking and saying idk
It's not like we're moving the moon closer to Earth or anything like that'
i would eat so much food that i would weigh as much on the moon as i do now
wouldnt people have to live on the earth still 2
the moon would just enable unlimited energy for those living on Earth
so how would they decied who stays
The moon would most likely be turned into a mining colony
i think we should colonize the sun instead
each country would have it's own territory too if it could send supplies there. Or act like it's the ocean where no one owns it
na i like pluto better but im black and dont like the cold
I think its a stupid idea.To colonize on the moon. If the world is truly supposed to come to an end, well then let it happen. All die at once
the idea of colonizing the moon is to obtain valuable resources not live there
Doesn't matter.. we don't need the resources.
we will eventually when our coal and oil deposits run out in a few hndred years
Yah... 100 years.. We'll be dead by then, hopefully..
I agree w rush...eventually, we're gonna run out; scary thought. I'll be like 120 years old by then
i say if we could colonize why not? if we're not distribing any local wildlife or ecosystems and it could benifit our society lets go ahead!
It would definately solve the Global population problems. I think that it would be a poor investment right now because THE US HAS NO MONEY
what about colonizing Ceres? It is considered by some to be a more strategic location.
you might be right on that data... i'm not sure
but ceres does have fresh water
the launch window for reaching mars occures every 700-ish days I believe and window to go to Ceres is 300-ish = more trips
We shouldn't ruin something as lovely as the moon.
if theres nothing harmful and theres enough money for it--why not?
but i do see your point Liz
