i just don't understand how that much money gets put in one place at one time, especially when i know how many places trying to do the exact same thing are operating on shoestrings budgets

and the degree to which some of the people in charge are under the impression that this much money is so inherently deserved is truly staggering

there was this sort of righteousness with which this was all being laid out before us, as though we were doing work that was not being done elsewhere in the world and indeed has not ever been done elsewhere, and that's just... it's not true. on any level. i arguably don't have a lot of experience as schools like this one, though more than most
