I think I'd have more fun if I was helping out in the math classes all day, instead of the English ones, too. (I'm in 2 math classes, 3 English ones, and one study skills class, and 98% of the time no one asks for help in study skills, so I sit there, bored, lol)
working as a title one aide, now. no lesson plans or paperwork anymore 
when the clock hits 2:15, I'm DONE. I don't even wait for the bell for 6th hour to be over and I have to sign out lol
I loved helping in math
there's less chance for them to get into trouble in math class, too, lol
honestly, I think I teach more google and computer skills than English
having helped with both, yes math is far less boring
I'm not even sure it's the boringness or not, but maybe the actual need for a title 1 aide in the class. In English, there's a lot of me sitting around doing nothing or just going out to the tables by the office with a small group and making them work
or taking 1 kid aside to keep them on task. or just going with a handful that are behind because of absences or whatever
for the math class, I can actually take the kids who missed and teach them the lesson myself and go through their assignment with them while they have someone there to check their work/understanding of how to do the work
if hubby gets a call to the other church, he won't be at the school next year; also from what I've heard since testing, they need to focus on math in middle school nexr year
so I'm hoping I'll just be a math aide in class (and hopefully with the teacher I work with now. I could get along with her very easily)
