the follow up: now I gotta go in and get xrays at unfortunate early hours for reasons unrelated to all the social effort

tho the social effort did involve people nagging me heavily to go see a doctor

good news: nothing is broken or dislocated according to xrays, just going to hurt to walk for another week or two due to my spectacular coordination that led to this
