if anyone offers online training within their district for professional development?

We are trying to head in that direction. Our summer academy for teachers will be entirely online this year.
I've done some online courses with my teachers - but we are not completely online for all courses.
so do you have any suggestions on starting up online learning for the first time?
are you planning to offer graduate credit from somewhere?
we are starting with PD points that will help them move on the salary scale.
we want to start with something (content wise) that will really get them hooked...
I was just curious because I think Baker University does something with pretty easy/cheap credit for that type of situation
I agree to start with a blended course. We always meet in person for the first class.
Depending on the course, we may meet for the last class to share.
We give a "recommended" due date guideline. When having them response to discussion boards, it is hard to do if no one else posts or if
they all wait until the last minute to post. Plus, it can make your life miserable trying to keep up if they wait 'til the end.
Our district gives credit through FHSU - something they've worked out with them. District pays for 1 credit for the teacher.
We almost always have more people sign up than slots available.
