so i basically just took like 3 weeks off from my life in general to put my show up and then recover and holy poop on a stick do i now remember why i do not like directing
Directing is the worst
don't get me wrong, the show is awesome, and i feel super proud of it, but jeez and louise i need no part of all this stress in my art, yo
i can also like... draw stuff
or act. acting has practically no stress for me

is it typically worse to direct your own work or someone else's, Wizera? not that i'm a writer, mostly just curious if it gets worse
Personally, I think it's a bad idea to direct your own stuff
so things are improving then
i've always had that suspicion but i've never seriously tried writing a show to find out
You need someone not as close to it
To interpret it as an audience would
