I do have one fantasy-esque fic where Jade is a werewolf, too.

In all others she’s just a dog guardian-girl god

So what are we thinking in terms of timeline, I ask, as if time was ever a line in this universe

Mostly I'm trying to figure out how old Joey is and whether any Shenanigans were involved in when these girls were born

Okay well I have most of her timeline at least generally laid out in the au planning. But I’m down for shenanigans. I think things could be scaled closer together so her “grandpa Harley” was younger than I imagine in canon. Which is usually in his sixties.

Jade is about sixteen though if that helps. (Just turned this past December tho she doesn’t actually Know her birthday here)

Maybe some time shenanigans happens and tho Joey is technically older she is still. Somehow. Younger (12-13?). And a younger-older halfsister XD

that’s just what first comes to mind. What do you got in mind for Joey’s age and such?

I was originally planning to play Joey at 14, but I could age her up

I've also considered having her sent forward in time (to preserve all her lol90's jokes) or Jake doing some magical looping to account for age discrepancies, but I'm indecisive about it

If you still wanna do that we could maybe swing something like. Jade is older but Jake didn’t know about her (or what happened to her mom) until after Joey and Jude were at such and such age, and he knew they were not the prophesized kiddos of his.

I also have it where the island. Had this illusion to it for years. Which made jade’s wolfdog and human sides appear separate. So. Something could also theoretically have been up with that.

A couple recent ideas/thoughts we’ve tossed back n forth

Me - Idea: Condescension uses blood types as castes.
Doom - One-up your idea: your blood color determines what daemon your family is bound to.

Me: One up: it’s both and the condense uses magic to tie specific blood colors to different types. Except for her and her Heiress(es). Or. Ties her blood type to fuschia and doesn’t allow anyone in with that type (again her heiresses are only exception)
