Saying that, am I allowed to feel upset that none of my closest friends have messaged me to wish me a happy birthday?

just_another_dreamer: Right? There's one friend in particular, one of my oldest friends. Even though we don't see each other as often anymore ( cause life ), we both still message each other on our birthdays. Hers would always be the first text I'd wake up to but I never got it this year.
