The game was active back in '11, but pricked its finger on a spinning wheel and fell asleep for years. But this is a pretty normal happening for the NPCs, so other than some bickering about the calendar, the Kingdom is continuing on as if those long years never happened~

A mix of farce and serious fantasy, Einmal is a game that balances lighthearted fun with a complex and rich (if often cliched and trope-ridden) world that's utterly open for the characters to explore. Players are encouraged to form their own plots, prod at the NPCs, discover plotholes and dig around to uncover the things hidden away just out of sight.

Gave it a few minor tweaks (the two meta-plot NPCs are retired cause they were kinda.... more annoying than helpful. Not sure who'll be replacing them, but so far, the Witch is being the actual "guide" NPC )

I've been looking for a game that allows CRAU so after Nano I might give this another look

Could not see anything about powers being nerfed, which if that is true... this might be a good home for Nadeshiko, who always needs more homes.

Powers are only nerfed if they're world breaking, basically. So as long as you're not apping someone who can rewrite reality or something like it, powers mostly just get translated into something that fits the world (aka, if it's tech based, now it's magic based.)

after looking thru the faq i do have one question -- is there a size limit on pets? like if my character wants to bring their horse-sized steed with them, would that be.... allowed

o ho ho.

Horse sized pets are fine! There are stables on the Hero House grounds for actual houses and similar mounts and there can always be a bay door added for any pet that wants to come inside

The main size limits are nothing that can accidentally squish a small building. Those would wind up being shrunk down to a more maniable size.

What about Rule!63 and age ups? I have one of each to consider.

Age ups are totally fine. Remind me what Rule!63 is again?

(depending on the age up, may just request that the AU label be slapped on them since if there's a significant amount of time passed, there'll likely be fandom disagreement as to how things would have gone and the AU tag (hopefully) stalls said arguments.

I run a game with similar AC standards and it makes it soooo much less stressful. Lovely.

Last game I was in, AC affected posting so heavily it actually made getting plot things resolved difficult

also I am doing this in lazy mode as much as possible to avoid mod work burn out

...I may app Hiccup and Toothless.

This seems like a good fit for them, and they're my go-to famtasy characters.
