I've had beautiful strawberry plants, but not much fruit. I should take this training!

Ddaisy: BTW, each state does have a Master Gardener program. I think you'd enjoy it. It's offered through the area extension office and your land grant university.

as for retirement ... if we hit the lottery tomorrow and were financially set for life, I really think I'd keep doing what I do now. I really enjoy my life as-is.
