usually yes. There are times when it takes me a moment, hurt pride/ego and that shit.. but usually I can say I'm wrong fairly easily

I try to convince my mom to stop apologizing all the time. Someone will cut her off in line at the grocery store and she will apologize for being in the way. It drives me nuts!
So yes, I second Jett. Stop that! 
When I was younger I was horribly shy and that actually made me unable to apologise for most anything. It was easier for me to have people think I was an asshole than to say I was wrong and apologise for it. Once I got more self confident and more life experience, it became MUCH easier to just say "wow, I really screwed up and I am sorry"
Fogwoman: I've seen that in students with anxiety... fascinating that "shy" causes some to apologize too much and some to have trouble doing it.
About 90% of the time, I am. I think the exception is when the other person is going to be an ass about it.

jettroxan: It takes a surprising amount of self-confidence to be able to apologise and accept consequences. For lots of folks the fear of being vulnerable in that way is just too much.
To me it just seems like the right thing to do... And it feels good afterwards... Im pretty quick to admit I'm wrong if I realize it I think
That said I often have strong convictions about things... And I'm not quick to apologize for something when I think I'm right.
Im not surprised to see some of your thoughtful responses here... It's a good character trait to have I think. Humility is something we should value more. Glad to have some of you around.
