This may not help. But a looooong time ago, I had to have carpal tunnel release surgery in one hand, and in the other hand, it wasn't quite bad enough for surgery so I just did physical therapy. Over time, the physical therapy has held up much better than the surgery.

The stretches I do are great for CT — one of them is just holding out one arm straight in front of me, palm forward, and then grabbing the fingers of it with the other hand and pulling them backward. You get a good stretch all the way down the arm.

Vaki: yes I've heard the same sorta feedback from so many people that surgery really didn't hold up if you keep using it the same way. I manage to get it under control by doing a bunch of stretches and also using a proper ergonomic set up; but ever since moving back to LA I've been working off a portable table/chair set up thats like the WORST for my

I had surgery for carpal tunnel in one wrist back in March. It helped me a lot, Anya.
