If Venice smelled better I would love it there. As it is I am envious!

kdfrawg: I understand it’s much worse in hot weather. It certainly wasn’t smelly enough to spoil the experience when I was there (it was November).

I was there once on the cusp of July-August. One does get sort of used to it.

Hey Many Thanks for all the replies. We just had got back after doing Vatican museums tours and I have to say it was quite a bit of walking. All good though, time spent with family
