I've only been back in SL a couple of days, and I've already been asked four times when my club will be open, and about hosting two events - I have an avatar and inventory that's desperately in need of an update and am sleeping on a friend's sofa - give me a damn minute to catch my breath! 
The legacy of Republik lives on
Some hard times but a lot of very fond memories for a lot of people it would seem. Warm and fluffy feels all round!
I actually heard of someone the other day who is trying to run a club in SL to make a profit. Yeah, i laughed too!
Not even the "clubs" that are essentially a dancefloor in the middle of a store, with 1001 games to play ever broke even... I never knew why they even bothered ruining the place with that stuff
