Okay though, I actually wanna beg for advice too-- application advice, because I'm pretty new to this and I want to not-suck :"0 I'd like any overall tips anyone has and also specifically tips on making references to canon material not seem clunky and wikipedia-ish (Nobody's sounds like that, I'm just worried about doing it myself??) PLS HELP FRIENDS
I'm not new to RP in general but last time I RP'd canon chars instead of OCs was in my baby teen years haha, now I'm here with the cool kids which is like WOAH. Ignore my WIP stuff bc I'm probably rewriting a lot honestly. Or maybe I'll save some of it from the fire.
I'll eat up even small bits of advice if you have it, you don't have to be an all knowing app expert, I'd really appreciate it either way

oh wow SUPER late and you already got in the game but i can tell you about what i did? then you'd have it for next time
i'm fortunate enough that i apped a character from a very short manga, so to cite my sources i just ... wrote down what happened and then hyperlinked to the relevant page lol
so that way i ended up referencing the source material and putting the proof right there
you might be able to do that with collections of screenshots from the mcu movies
