i'm literally on twitter to make friends and keep up with friends so it's wild to me... so i worry a lot about interacting but i just assume ppl will sb me if i'm too much, at this point

most people like that i'm friendly and i've made good friends from it, so i can't be fussed to worry

but i'm def more comfortable on plurk platforms

my only issue with plurk is i cant like. interact with content. but im viewing it from a twit standpoint so h

you can replurk from public timelines! but most people like, use twitter for fanart retweets and then keep discussions to plurk for like, stuff we'd usually thread

i think the reason it caught on w/ the journal rp crowd is bc it got us all before twitter was a fandom hub, and it does resemble the old blogging functions more than tumblr/twitter

but coming from the tumblr/twittersphere it's definitely sort of a backwards movement in terms of content

i think you missed it in terms of age... like just in evolution of internet rp, journal rp was basically a closed circuit by like... 2009 we stopped getting new blood, and people were using like, tumblr

and then it went to like, facebook and twitter and other platforms that i cannot even comprehend

so anyone who wasn't like, already in mid-teens by 2009 basically missed the journal rp trend
