honestly I'm looking at the Melodies of Eternity game and him...cos on the one hand, he'll be stripped of his powers. but he can use certain magic through the jobs provided and regain some of his innate abilities there. And the mods are saying that there'll be a future 'custom job' mechanic, so I could use that too :la

So far the horror aspect has been manageable and we've been able to control how bad things are for our characters. However if that is a turn off fair enough. I hope you find a good place to send him soon.

Yeah I tried to peek into how the horror would be handled and it's not very revealing to me on the FAQ. And in experience, it's not just about the tone you set, it's the tone your CR sets, since your character's most likely going to end up dealing with whatever happens to them too :la

The tone varies based on month and district. The types of themes will actually be hinted in each month's test drive meme.

The last event was a power-out/monsters that left encroaching scales on the skin of people they touched, and shadows possessing people to heighten negative emotions.

And the antigravity in the high tech district also went out so upside-down houses had their furniture hit the ceiling.

If you're ever curious what might be coming your way then looking at the TDM might help you consider.

But if that's not your style then it's more than fair.

I'm looking over the FAQ and it says that corruption upon revival is gonna be a big deal too. I'll consider it, there'll be other app rounds in the future no doubt

It seems to be, but no one's used it yet and I don't even know what I'm going to do. It's only the second app cycle.

Yeah, and they outright have Illusionist and Bard it's FF based I think, so those would suit Oisin completely
