let's get this one out of the way. i wrote a whole fic for it, i can't say i don't love it. akeshu is...... so terrible, but so good, too. i'm a sucker for foils and thief/detective dynamics and really complicated feelings

especially because!!! akechi!! does fucking like joker, this is the crux of it, but that's bad? because, gestures, spoilers he's supposed to kill the dude. he'd be happy to, in some way, vindicated and glad some stupid unknown variable is out of his life and his plans and things can keep on (despite the fact that that wouldn't work out either)

but. he likes him. and you can play joker any way you want, you can pick any choice, and it's fine. you don't have to have him like akechi at all.

but he and the pt still offer a space for akechi and he still promises to take care of things and DAMMIT

i like a lot of potential they could have, if things weren't so... if they had met earlier, or if akechi's life hadn't been absolute shit

yusuke is oblivious as fuck and futaba would flip if she ever had a crush on him. it's cute. and their interactions are so nice too?? they're antagonistic but not in a like... terribly overbearing way, i guess, it feels very natural and they still care about each other...??? this is one thing i really like about p5 tbh, character interactionwise

it all feels very natural and smooth and nice, i love it

because while white comes back to save black, leo comes to save white and to give her that courage, that reassurance, that boost that she needs to be able to do exactly what she wants to. what she needs to. and he's upset about it
