I seriously had an in depth fantasy about this once -

I decided it’s a Haven video, and it’s a very stereotypical love song. And the video is of Julian walking around buying flowers and getting all dressed up and stuff

Then he walks into a restaraunt for the date and walks right to a boy sitting alone at a table

And the big LIGHTS UP when he sees him and Julian leans down to kiss him and give him flowers and when he sits down he’s smiling just as big yep

also, yeah, i was definitely thinking it would be a haven video

I may or not spend my whole drive to work listening to the radio and deciding what songs Julian could perform/feature in/star in videos for

i do the same thing while listening to spotify randomly, and i actually made a whole playlist for potential dalton songs that i make scenarios for in my head

I’ve also been watching movies and thought “man Julian would be great in this role”

Two scenarios- and the Haven video is the best way to do it because Clark would never let him be exploited by a creative director.
The above one which is cute as hell I can only see as either Julian coming out/has already come out and this is the first glimpse of him back on any screen. Like, think Haven drop the video at the MTV Music Awards kind of bomb.

OR if he hasn't already come out, and wants to ease the public into the idea of him being not-straight, then a more trippy style video with Haven. Like, lots of cuts and colours and you only see Julian in it for like a total of 30 seconds out of 4 minutes- but for like half a second at a time- and there's this montage of like hands and faces and there's

other celebrity friends of Haven- and part of this montage is just kisses- so the director pretty much mixes and matches who kisses who so anyone of the 'montage' special guests are kissing like 5-8 people, and Julian just doesn't object to being paired with guys for some of the shots. And Clark looks over at him slightly worried, but Julian's like "i've got

this Clark." And then the fans freak out because Haven as well gets into the action, and there are fan blogs who pause and snapshot every single kiss and someone swears they got Julian to kiss Clark (but that was a good fanedit, but Julian does kiss at least three boys for the shoot)
And just, Julian gets to be like, "Oh it was a fun video, it was great for

Haven to include me. What a great message for our current political climate. Their album drops next month and my movie is in theatres this weekend, bye!"
And just keep them guessing, and the media is split like "he's an actor, it was acting!!!" while some are like "but he looked like he enjoyed it!"
And hint Julian did enjoy it, it was such a no-pressure

shoot and Haven are just great- and Clark is great- and overall there is a good amount of support on Twitter, and Julian feels more comfortable to branch out and then do like, music videos for queer groups, is seen more at charity events for lgbtq issues- still not OUT yet, but he's allowing himself to be seen in those spheres. AND THEN, there's a collab

with like a DJ where he provides the voice, and it's just this video with like a male and female love interest who keep switching places in the shoot. So you cut to the guy, then back to Julian, then cut back and he's now the girl- but Julian's still doing the same things. And Julian looks GREAT in the video, and people lose thier shit over it.

And there are still people who interpret it as he's straight or he's gay- but he just finally does an interview with OUT magazine and he's like "I'm bi you idiots."

It's a very urban, nightscape video- so not reliant on nightclub stuff- but there's like making out on a fire escape, dancing in a bar with the DJ making a cameo, the person tugging Julian into the taxi to kiss them in the backseat, running through the city lit up at night, neon, some scene where it gets really quiet and it's just the two of them looking at

each other in closeup- and like quick flashbacks to them doing this multiple times- keywords: freedom, excitement, youth, love
And why not fireworks over the waterfront. And Julian has mixed feelings about that shot but the director insists upon it.

Music video is my personal fav, though I'm also a fan of him just like casually throwing it out on Instagram or something and when people freak he's like "oh did I forget to tell you guys? my b"

I also like the idea of him like never explicitly trying to hide it so when he does come out there's all these clips and stuff that re-surface and people are like "shit we should've known when someone asked the SD cast who they'd all date Julian said Clark without hesitating"

Juliark shippers would feel so validated lol- but they are so off.
But Julian in pride parades just gives me a fuzzy feeling.

Julian in a bi flag cape is all I need- he doesn’t even need to be on a float, just be walking about with a big ol’smile feeling like a weight is off his shoulders.
