Fun driving times: watching police zoom by when you're two intersections from home, and have them block off and turn you around at the intersection that would deliver you home.
So because trying out new routes in the dark is a hideous idea, I did the only other thing I could think of: drove all the way back to work so that google maps and Waze could find the freeway route that would take me in the BACK way to my home, which is freeway accessible only
And of course, by the time I figured this all out and completed the drive some 45 minutes later, the wreck (or whatever it was) and police were gone =n=

I do kind of love pulling up in front of the window her little cat-stool is set at and watching her perk up like a prairie dog. I was a whole hour late, she was totally going to die if I was another minute more!
