obviously!! we know that the solon-killing pact is still on, but jay won't want to assume that he'll be able to find geir again, geir will still be in a position to help him, etc., etc. so he'll be in a weird "should i feel like i lost something when my plan was to transport a thirty-five foot dragon across universes in the first place"

mobiusloops he'll want to talk things out with dirk maybe. or i want him to talk things out with dirk if you're down for it (whenever we get setting info and can react to stuff, etc.) because i want him on the "well if NOT huge fuckoff dragon is there another way to fix this" train of thought

which brings me to the crazy idea part of this???

it occurs to me that the homestucks collectively, particularly jade+dave, are probably op enough to get past jay's "oh no it's solon can't do anything about solon" mindblock

i don't know whether dirk would suggest asking other homestucks, and even if he would this is obviously something that would have to be discussed icly and oocly among the whole cast

BUT it could go cool places for everyone involved so. something to float to the relevant parties?? jay would definitely ask if he knew how op the homestucks were, i don't think he does rn

frankly he would do a lot of things to fix the situation at home, including "telling you all his secrets" and "asking very nicely"
