I think my first game in the series was 4, but 5 is the one I remember the most fondly, since holyfight got into the series properly then.

I can replace everything with the files from Shin Sangoku Musou 4 (which I also have) and rebuild the ISO.

I want to be able to rip the movies .linkfile and translate the Japanese ones, but no one developed tools for those until ... 6? 7, I think?

I'm playing it now and ... has the series gotten easier?

5 is just the perfect balance of you being able to beat the shit out of multiple foes, and them being able to do the same to you.
