or like, something with an ic murdergame premise but where the understood ooc goal is actually to break out of the game
maybe like, the setting itself is sentient and you have to explore it and convince it to let you escape / STOP RUNNING MURDERGAMES FOR THIS JACKASS
i think it'd be better if there were characters interested in playing the murdergame straight also? like: "object: get out of here before vriska kills everyone"
. . . i'd legit run this but i have no idea how to run any kind of game much less a murdergame
other things i think would be fun: survivor style murdergame where you have to choose who to live and who to die based off of their histories. i think there'd be weekly "team-building exercises" to make that harder too
mmmm i think i’m doing the clickers in lecture today which means i actually have to pay attention
you have every possible skill needed to run games ink
you love subheaders and that's like 4/5 of what's needed right there
seriously though i ran/helped plan a ton of short term games and longer term plots in aather and you're wayyy more organized than me, don't be intimidated if you wanna throw a psl thing up
someone in the first mapping party suggested subheaders and the rest was history
mobiusloops: yeah!!! i think the ones i've seen have had people gaming the rules to try and get the best end but this would be more a "whoops, your murdergame turned into an explore"
estrapade: I THINK I SHOULD PROBABLY PLAY IN A MURDERGAME BEFORE RUNNING ONE . . . even a weird bastard one . . . but thank you that is nice to hear ;;
maybe people could still optionally be murdered but then they turned into shitty ghost guides with a limited ability to walk through walls
murder slowly trickles to a stop as murderers realize all it does is make victims unpunchable and annoying
i'd also like to see a nerf gun murdergame but i'm less interested in running that
i think if i did run the murder/explore game i'd have a way for people to break characters out of the graveyard. but that happens a lot in standard murdergames anyway
i would want it to be harder than just "getting out" though
i'm scribbling notes on a folder now lmao
we'll see. i still want to play in a murdergame first? unless we take the murdergame part out entirely but
i wish more ppl did something like that, i had a lot of fun putting together the gy's break out in the mg i did because we decided that people would dm their own threads based on the dream lotus eater and people seemed to dig it a lot
as it is a lot of it is just hands off and caused by the survivor pool
CONCEPT: you are trapped in a creepy old house that demands that you murder each other each night until there is only one of you left. You must explore the house, find its secrets, and (hopefully) convince it to let you go, or resign yourself to this living nightmare.
