yes there are all the usual reasons i have an rpf squick and yes i get lowgrade annoyed that most of those ppl don't follow any events except men's solo, but it is partly a feeling of betrayal of etiquette

bc on the rink, if you respect someone, you stay out of their space

so the fandom flavour of weird possessive 'my son' comments (i can barely even type that, it's literally nauseating) just go against everything my body knows

..............like literally half my friends are RPF fans, i am usually p great at compartmentalising my RPF squick from my social life but here i just. ugh.
