I'll probably plurk randomly for a while. I have nothing to talk about that interests anyone.
I use
my Twitter more now, mostly because I'm not required to do anything but soak in the miasma there.
I'm curious if anyone else on my timeline has one. I'm interested in following.
Aside from that, nothing has been going on anyway.
I'm bored and frustrated at work because I was hired around the end of the year, and I've either been basically moving around 300 pound printers or sitting at my desk trying to look busy.
Both those tasks are completely exhausting, it turns out, so I haven't played a single video game since I started working. Not even when we visited my grandmother over Christmas.
Actually, a lot of that has to do with the fact that we had to almost constantly be on our kids' asses, because my grandmother has a certain way of parenting ... and I don't agree with it all that much.
Yeah, this is coming from the disciplinarian. We were ... discussing parenting constantly.
We also had to drive a moderate distance so I could purchase a car. That will be its own plurk.
Anyway, I'm now currently cleaning bird feces off the back of my TV so I can place it atop this cheap Walmart bookcase I bought to replace the old one. Pretty painless, honestly.
The, uh, bookcase construction and the de-pooping.
I'll probably keep the old one. It needs a new MDF top, which is the main problem. It also needs a new back that isn't that crappy cardboard thing they put in the box.
New one needs that too. I'm deciding on when I want to do that. It's not stiff enough for my tastes. I could've just made one, but the garage is trashed and my tools need replacing/updating.
Better get back to what I'm doing. I fear I'll just drop the project if I sit at the computer too long, and I'm going to use this extra day off (Arctic snow blanket) to finally get the den back in shape so I can maybe play a game, or something.
More plurks in the future ... I guess.
there is just something about the phrase "AND the de-pooping"
"__________ and the de-pooping" is just a way of life here with de burds C:
Yeah, de-pooping is one of the joys of bird parenthood.
