So now that we've finished Visser, let's take a look at the series as a whole. Everything we've seen done has been under the leadership of Visser One; they've been very clear from the beginning that she championed a slow infiltration of the planet

Now, in terms of actual success, there's both pros and cons to her way of thinking, but she does make it clear that the reason she pushes for that (aside from "her" children, which no one knows about) is because she doesn't want to decimate the human population, the host population, in an all-out war

How do you think things would have gone if the other side had won out? Are there any major things you think would have happened? We see another alternate reality later on, but that still has the "slow infiltration" as a starting point - what about if Bug fighters just came screaming from the sky, Independence Day-style?
