Last night, one of our newer players (who had just gone through two other characters that just barely managed to avoid being murdered by the party) had a new character...

And the new guy to the adventure was okay, kinda bland, but was also the player's attempt at playing nice with the group.

Every single person at the table, including a random bystander watching us play, EVEN INCLUDING HIMSELF, inflicted grievous bodily harm on the guy- by what seemed to be complete accident.

He also accidentally almost murdered the one competent party member by putting a bag over his head.

There's a reason I refer to this group as "A cavalcade of fuckups!"

But it's so much fun to watch them constantly self-destruct in slow motion, but somehow manage to succeed despite themselves.

I figure as long as they actually do succeed without killing too many of themselves at once, the DM's doing a good job. And apparently I am!
