I was trying to work with 10/0 seed beads and it was basically terrible but their sizing is all over the place most of the time

yeeeeeeah from what little I remember seed beads are all over the place, sizing-wise

I think it's partly because I've grown fuckawful at even peyote stitching too; I might try again with a slightly smaller pen to see if that helps

especially the cheaper ones yeah, but I didn't want to blow a ton of cash on a nostalgia binge

Also the only place in town that sells them is hobby lobby and fuck those guys

which means I've got a big order coming from am Amazon seller that I need before I can start making the real goods

it's just a pen cover! those and beaded lighter cases are pretty popular where I grew up, and I learned how to do it back in middle school in salish class

I'm super picky about pens. There's only three brands I can even use for more than just scribbling a quick line, and texture plus the increased size would be a no-go for me. So I'll just have to admire them from afar!

Yeah that's absolutely fair; I've never been able to use one either; when I've gotten them it's been kept as a decoration
