I'm very excited to make his life terrible and give him a good boyfriend he unquestionably does not deserve

Unhealthy relationships can be the most interesting to read

They can be, and this is going to be kind of...I mean his (eventual) boyfriend is a very alarming sea monster who still somehow manages to be a better person than him, and that's going to come into play here

Ideally he's going to end this story on better moral ground than he started

But we'll see, man

his ego problem has to get him into deep trouble first
