who is Ace?

She was the last companion of the pre-reboot show.

She is pretty much awesome personified. She makes and makes use of her own explosives, and once took out a Dalek with a souped up baseball bat.

She's a 17 year old badass human who was going to the Time Lord Academy before the show got cancelled.

She almost had a were-cheetah girlfriend but they wouldn't let'em so it's just hella implied. And in one media or another, she has a time travelling motorcycle and goes around kicking ass as Time's Vigilante.
