The most traumatizing thing in all my 39 years has happened to me. Nothing in the world could have prepared me for what my dad looks like without a beard.
He's ALWAYS had a beard. He had a beard when my mom met him and that was almost 50 years ago.
Him without out a beard is just O.O

lol i remember this moment and I screamed and cried and tried to shove his hair back on his face ( i was three it was bad, i forbid him to do it again)
My dad shaved off half his beard and half his moustache once, on opposite sides, then went to work
my dad shaved his head and beard for cancer fundraising and hoboy
he looked too much like his brother for comfort
my dad had to shave his beard when I was much younger for chemical safety reasons and I didn't look at him for three days
why'd he do it?
mine has generally been clean-shaven so I don't have this issues 
prototypical: Jokingly he's saying that he wanted to give my mom a new man for the new year. But he also said that the barber screwed up.

Mine is kindof the opposite. My Dad always shaves, so seeing him with a beard is like whoa mirror!Universe Dad.
Honestly can't remember. But us kids found it hilarious.
