[D&D] I pretty much solo'd a beholder last night. CR 13. I say pretty much because the cleric spent most of his time trying not to be feared/paralyzed/turned to stone
And the mystic was hindered by the beholder's anti-magic field.
Meanwhile none of my main equipment is magical. I have a pair of magical swords but as a gunslinger I use guns and my guns aren't magical.
I criticaled the beholder in its Main Eye.
The Cleric thankfully managed to keep Bless up which saved my ass a couple of times.
And one time I got charmed by the beholder (who was REALLY PISSED I hit it in the eye) but then it attacked me with a slow ray which broke the charm.
But, I did about 90% of the damage to it.
Which was our game last night. And it was awesome. And Kale is feeling VERY SMUG.
Also, I leveled. Rolled max hp.
