Finished up the Illidan book, and well if that wasn't one of the more blander novels I've read.

It wasn't that difficult to get through this one. I still only got like five pages into Wolfheart and put it down because I just. I could not deal with it. 6_9

For all I rag on Golden and Knaak, there's enough in their prose that I feel something, even if it's just anger (and wanting to pitch the book against a wall)

It just wouldn't have taken much to make it more engaging - especially when you get to go into the actual initiation of a demon hunter and all it's horrors.

I will forever be lowkey bitter over the fact that Blizzard had Timothy Zahn write a Starcraft novel instead of a Warcraft or Diablo novel.

Actually, it was one of the better warcraft novels from what I recall - engaging and interesting - digs into troll politics of Zandalar too

I think it's just over shadowed in my mind because I think I read War Crimes not long after reading Shadows of the Horde
