Amusingly both characters are a sorcerer named Phoenix. But that's the only thing they have in common. The first Phoenix was a 3rd ed half-elf sorcerer with dragonic bloodline. The new Phoenix is a 5th ed human sorcerer with the Phoenix bloodline.
