I can tell you that this is Gregg shorthand, and they're using compound symbols to make longer words or phrases.

The main problem I'm having is that shorthand is subject to people using abbreviations that make sense to them but that someone else would have trouble telling which word they mean by that combination. Plus the writer's angle is odd. Fun puzzle though, so I'm still playing with it. :-)

I think the first word is made up of the "A" symbol and the "p" symbol.

I think the second word looks like a combination of the "m", "ch", and "g" symbols which could mean anything to the person who wrote it. I'm really not likely to be as much help as I'd hoped. :-P Sorry.

It looks like there's a forum on that site where people who actually can still read it might be able to help. I loved using shorthand when I was learning it in school; it was great fun to write in code with my friends.
