Substance Painter gurus: can you tell/screen shot me what export settings I need to use to generate normal, diffuse, specular maps properly? I made a metal thing, but it doesn't have the metal shine it should and I know I've jacked things up. Please and thank you!

for the metal on the texture itself I use the base color textures
Like these are the three exports I use and make materials in PS myself if I use materials and this is what the metal part of one of my recent items looks like on the base color texture

chandnikhondji: cool! do you then do some sort of post processing with the AO? I was hoping to be able to just export the three necessary maps directly and plug them in in-world.

yeah I go into PS and add the Ao layer and do a bit of color correction if it came out too light or too dark for my taste
I have not found an option yet that will just merge everything together. I thought that the Base colour does that in the start, but if the AO is added, it is barely visible

I haven't made anything with a super visible AO. I just stated using the program as a trial this week, but was hoping to be able export the specular where it sees the metal as shiny and the rust as far less so.
have you used the baked lighting filter? I don't know if you have seen any tutorials for substance painter. Because the default view is sadly not what you'll see in textures upon exporting

what I got looks pretty good, it just doesn't have the shine under lights that I wanted. I'm not certain how to control that
