A colleague of mine was promoted to supervisor without prior experience in handling people. While I was not promoted for three years now doing the same thing as a supervisor. It kinda downed my morale and I don't want to give more effort to my work now

Ganyan if the company believes in the bell curve.
My previous work wants to stick with the bell curve method, I left. They don't deserve performers.

find a new job opportunity. Weigh your offers and then talk to your boss about the imminent job change. If they counteroffered with what you wanted, then possibly stay. Although, in my experience, it's better to leave.

siopaomaster better to have 2 or more options. Gain more leverage and find out wc company values you the most. also, prove your worth by reminding your boss on your past achievements. your boss might have overlooked on your value.
adamantgirl yep, better to leave pag nag counteroffer, at least most of the time here in the Philippines. Dunno elsewhere. For me kasi, a counteroffer is good only if they never said or showed that everybody is replaceable. It means they do see you as an asset and not as another employee.
