Got into another guy's report at work because someone was calling back. He had zero documentation to tell me why he was calling this guy, so I messaged him to find out. The report needed more work immediately, so I told him I'd do it, but he got pissed because I asked if he had gotten some required info (our process).
Grown man calls me and tells me to get the hell of his shit if I want to do it the 'right' way. What??
I wasn't even asking him to put in more work! I just asked if he'd gotten some info, when he said he didn't need it, I told him I'd get it real quick so that the process was followed and everything was good. God. People need to breathe.
He was just defensive because you were pointing out that he wasn't following the process he was supposed to follow
