I mean come on it opens with a cutesy happy go lucky op but then people get killed in the show and the ending goes and hammers to point home.

I remember hearing about it when it came out but my brother had it on bootlet pirate bay and I'm pretty not keen on watching anime illegally, but its on crunchyroll now so that's cool

oh its fantastic, although kinda wish I went into it blind since I had a somewhat familiarity with the premise. So I was not all that surprised with the plot twists so far. but its fantastic

update: just binged watched what I thought was a fucked up 12 episode show. Only to find out there is another 12 part season. I don't think I can handle 2 seasons of this.

update on the update, turns out its just the English dub not actually a second season

I feel like the "thinking there's a whole second season and then realizing there is not" is a whole separate emotional ride on top of the actual show; you must have had quite the day~

i personally prefer to think of Rebellion Story as an AU future instead of "canon" for my own sanity but damn is it sure a thing
