I find that people who haven't experienced mental health issues sometimes simply can not understand them.

And yeah, even after having experienced some depression, mine doesn't get the special hell that is being bipolar.

My hubby doesn't get it either, but he supports me 100% when I have a depressive episode and puts up cheerfully with my quirks when my OCS flares up. Trying to explain depression and anxiety to someone who hasn't experienced it is like trying to describe a migraine to a person who has never had aheadache

Dustin actually asked me the other day what I had to be depressed about. I had to tell him depression doesn't work that way.
