Maybe get into an art program at a university - but the issue with that is, you'll have to take a step into something that's out of your comfort zone.

You have to be willing to step out of the familiar if you want more than retail or food jobs.

there's a website called edX that has college level courses for free, KhanAcademy which has refresher courses on maths and other general education, and there's CG Cookie if you want to brush up on your art. I can link you to my Andrew Loomis collection if you'd like, as well.

You have options. You just need to work toward them.
