The way I see it is this. 1. It brought more awareness to the conservation efforts going on both in wild giraffes and with ones in places like this. 2. It brought in much needed revenue in the form of donations, sales and as of 2 days ago park admission. All of which will go towards caring for the new baby and all of the other animals there.

Don't bring goodness and logic into this! psh! FINE! you win.
