Pain started during a bout of food poisoning and kept me in agony for most of Monday.

I went to the hospital near me at 2 am Tuesday and they transferred me early that afternoon to the place I currently am. Which is hella far, but apparently what my insurance insists on.

Family is flying out now (because I couldn't convince Momma otherwise and she needs Joe to help her travel).

It's not a difficult or big surgery. Truly worst case is a hysterectomy and since I never want to bear kids anyway I'll be okay if that ends up being the option.

There's also a chance a mass on my right ovary could be cancerous (which seemed unlikely until Mom told me that's how Grandma's mom died), but they see no warning signs that it is.

I'm just in pain or uncomfortable depending upon when the morphine came last and bored, but I'll be fine. Just wanted ya'll to know

Was hoping to be under by now, but now they're saying closer to 8, depending on timing stuff.

Right ovary was removed, left had cyst removed. Not in pain now, so hopefully recovery will be quick.
