We still have about a dozen or so large plastic totes full of stuff to sort and put away, but all the big furniture is done. The bookshelves are up and overstocked with books. the sound system is set up so we can at least listen to records, even if it's not 100% yet.
Our garage is still pretty stuffed, and that's a problem. We're supposed to park one car in there, by the lease. Right now that can't really happen. Both cars are out in the general parking spaces.
Luckily by this point I had access to my tool box. Some wood glue painted into each part of the cracks, a single vice-grip (all I have at the moment for clamps), and my carpenter's square as a brace.
The next morning it seemed like it would be serviceable. The bed is assembled and it's holding for now. If it cracks again though I'll have to go more drastic for a repair. Probably a metal strip behind the wood as support.
