ship flame wars may feel like a thing of the past but now it's calling literally anything and everything problematic and some sort of -ist

and an artist I like basically commented with "I trust people to not be literally satan or abusers, just like I trust most of you not to be murderers or sadists for liking canons with a lot of murder"

thank you based artist, please introduce more of this healthy attitude into the community

im all for ppl hating within their own space but when will harassment culture die honestly

at least the arguments were straight up YOUR SHIP IS BAD instead of trying to hide it under a veneer of "you're an actual irl pedophile/abuser if you enjoy this ship"

that or "you're only allowed to like this ship if you're a (insert thing) survivor trying to cope" because everyone should totally feel the need to reveal their entire past history just because they want to see fictional characters kiss

so yes I'm glad some artists don't engage in that kind of shit... this is fandom ffs it's supposed to be fun
