To recap, the plan was: Wed: get uboxes delivered. Thu: hired movers come load boxes. Fri: Hit the road, driving from Ohio to California.

It's currently Monday after that. I'm still in cincinnati.

The hired movers skipped out on me. They sent me an email claiming they left me voicemail, and that they had to reschedule for saturday. I figured I could use a little extra time to relax and finish packing at less than a frantic pace.

Saturday, they do not come.

I ended up filing a complaint and cancelling the job with the website I got them from. Sunday morning I hire a different group. In five minutes I get a phone call from them, an hour later I have three guys helping me move.

So that was good at least.

I have to pack all of my life into these three crates. I got three, hoping I'd be able to get everything into just two, since I wouldn't have to pay for the third then.

Aaaand once the movers left, all three boxes were full... and I still had a dozen or so bins, a shelf, some file boxes, two bikes...
