I was thinking that he could be first to the other side of the pit and get jumped

or he could be last to cross

or have one push him into the pit for extra bonebreaking action

...I am not sure that fall would be uh. survivable

unless he's got some kinda skill that would help break his fall

so alternatively! if he is not a good enough climber and/or too heavy to cross to the other side of the pit using the wall ledges, then that could force Zuko and Minako to go on ahead in search of the way to move the platform?

so either shadows attack while they're gone or once they get him across and they can't help him until they climb back down

looking at the video that part isn't an impossible climb for him but who knows how sturdy those ledges are
